Hear What Some BootCampers Have To Say......

"What can I say?  X-treme Fitness
BootCamp has changed my life.
For the past 14 years I have
neglected my health and body.
After hearing glowing reviews about
Lori and her BootCamp I decided
to give it a try.  Not only have I lost
61 lbs. and 10" from my waist but I
am undoubtedly in the absolute
best shape of my life!  Being a part
of the BootCamp Team has not only enhanced my physical fitness, but also my mental
fitness. The sense of euphoria an individual receives after completing a BootCamp
session is something one must experience to fully understand.   Lori, the Drill
Instructor, is an individual for whom I have the utmost respect. She is in tune with each
individual at BootCamp and knows everyone's personal limits and goals. Lori pushes
me to do things I never thought I was capable of doing. Without her, I personally do not
think my BootCamp experience would be as successful.  It's always nice seeing some
“new recruits” on the first day of a new session. All of us share common goals and are
attending BootCamp for very similar reasons – be it weight loss or physical and mental
fitness. Like myself when I began, many of these “new recruits” cannot perform all of
the tasks we perform without taking a short break and resting. It is really rewarding to
watch these individuals advance in mere weeks by simply attending and staying
dedicated to Lori's always changing program of strength training, cardiovascular
training, and her intense focus on the body's core."

"X-treme Fitness BootCamp!!!
WOW!!!  Where do I start.... it
has changed my life in so many
positive ways.  I have Sinus
Tachycardia brought on my
weight and am 47 years old.  I
was really nervous when I started
BootCamp and was afraid that
I would not be able to keep up
with the Team due to my weight
and breathing condition.   When I started in July I could not make it around the track
for our warm up lap without stopping many times gasping for air.  This all changed
within 4 weeks, where under Lori’s guidance and expertise my stamina and endurance
increased to where I was able to run the full warm up lap without stopping, as well as
being able to stay up with the group the full lap.  I talked with Lori  about my concerns
and she encouraged and motivated me to stay focused, not quit and push through any
negative thoughts. I did as Lori said and almost immediately my stamina and
endurance quickly increased and  I was actually keeping up and getting stronger with
each class.  The atmosphere and camaraderie is amazing, the Team encourages and
cheers one another and Lori, ( Our Fearless Leader ) is the best motivator ever.  Lori's
workouts are always mentally and physically challenging as she constantly changes
the activities for maximum results. My physician was amazed at how I had changed in
such a short time and told me to continue with BootCamp that it was the best decision I
had made.  My resting heart rate, which was 155/110 my first few sessions is now at
110/80.  I have also
been released from follow-ups with my Cardiologist to my Primary Care physician.  I
feel so much stronger, energized and focused since starting BootCamp and the added
bonus is I am now in control of my breathing.  Lori is as good as it gets.  And she
definitely get's the job done with her amazing skills and talents.  Lori is tough,
motivating, inspiring, challenging and knows how to push people out of their comfort
zone to succeed.  Her workouts "work ", her advice " works", her way of doing things "
work " and it is a true gift that she shares this with us.  Lori, you have brought back
happiness, health and a future to me and it is the best gift anyone has ever given me.
Thank you!!!!  You honestly are the best and I truely mean it!!!  I just started my twenty-
nineth session and I am HOOKED!!!!   Trust me; X-Treme Fitness BootCamp is
addictive!!!!!  And will always be a part of my life. "

"When I hit 50, I realized
everything was heading
'south' and I started feeling
old.  I read about BootCamp
and decided to give it a try.  I
have been part of the Team
for almost 2 years and I feel
great.  BootCamp has helped
my mental health as well.  I
am happier and enjoy each
day to it's fullest.  I now
'crave' BootCamp.  I am
stronger, more energeticand have more definition and tone to my body.   Lori is a great
leader and does a great job of varying our exercise routines.  She pushes us to give
our all during each exercise.  Also, this is not a “cookie cutter” fitness center program,
where everyone already looks like Barbie and Ken dolls, with the outfits to match.  X-
treme Fitness BootCamp is a program filled with women and men of all ages, shapes,
sizes and ability levels, with a common goal.  Get healthy!  Recently, I had my annual
physical.  My doctor was amazed by how I had changed since the last time he had
seen me.  He told me that “if I keep doing boot camp, I won’t get old.  The parts will just
wear out one day”.  I think he is right."

"
Wow!  I feel fabulous!  And I think
the picture says it all.  I had always
exercised and maintained my
weight but before I knew it middle
age had set in and I was a bit over-
weight, tired, lacked motivation and
struggled to find an exercise
program that fit my needs and got
me up and moving again.  Then one
day I saw the ad for X-treme
Fitness BootCamp and the rest is
history.   After my first week in April 2006 I knew I was addicted and commitment was
not an issue.  So here I am three years later at 49, feeling great, strong, fit, my weight
under control and back into smaller sizes and with the proper eating habits I have been
able to maintain the weight.  So I look forward to 5:45 a.m. and pushing myself to stay
strong and healthy.   When I get home from every boot camp session I feel exhilarated,
fit and mentally clear in going on with the rest of my day knowing what I accomplished
at boot camp.  Not to mention, boot camp is fun!  Some people cringe when I say that!
But look at me.   Also, I have met some awesome women who are as committed as I am
and I enjoy the camaraderie and the fun we have as we are all pushing ourselves to do
our best and working our butts off under Lori’s instruction.  Lori has been committed as
well and she takes a personal interest in each individual’s goals and accomplishments.
She keeps us motivated, is always changing the workouts, pushing us to our maximum
capacity, concerned with our safety, technique and form.  So I figure, if I look and feel
this good at 49, what 50 will be like, and what successes I will have in my 4th year of
BootCamp?  I guess I will have to keep everyone updated."

"Bootcamp rules! As a self-proclaimed
'gym rat' for more than a decade, I was
ready for something new. I thought I was
in pretty good shape until the first
bootcamp session! It was such a challenge
and has been ever since! I never realized
what a plateau I had been stuck in until I
started bootcamp. I had literally gone years
without seeing results - and tried every
class and trend that had come my way.
Bootcamp was the first real challenge I had
fitness-wise for a long time, and I am
stronger than I have ever been because of
it! I was in the best shape of my life for my wedding a year after I started, and continue
to enjoy the always changing, never boring, fast-pace of the class! Lori does a fantastic
job switching things up so you are constantly working new muscles or trying some new
exercise guaranteed to get your heart pumping. Working out outside and with other
fun people has also been a huge plus and something I look forward to each evening.
Anyone can succeed with Lori motivating you - it takes hard work but you WILL see
results if you stick with it!"

"To prepare for my November weddingI
joined BootCamp.  I had already bought
my weddding gown; my goal was to tone
up my shoulders and arms to look great
in the strapless gown.  I have to admit
the first session was pretty tough but I
stayed with it for a second session and
then became hooked.  The results have
been tremendous!!!  I lost a few pounds
but it looks like I have lost 15!  My
physique re-aligned to more healthy
proportions.  In October before the
wedding both
the waist and hips of my dress had to be taken in
and my arms were nicely tones for the big day.  I was
thrilled with the results and felt fabulous
on my
wedding day, with many thanks to Lori!   I am still
participating in X-treme Fitness BootCamp because it’s a great overall workout,
extremely challenging and I just love being outdoors getting fit instead of being in a
dark, smelly, crowded gym. With the wedding day over, I am now focusing on not
gaining the Newlywed 20!" ~ K

"I used to think I was in fairly good shape. I lifted weights and did cardio for years.
Back in May 08 my fiancé (now wife) was attending BootCamp and had signed me up
for ”bring a friend day” which I must admit I was not to thrilled about. I thought, “How
good of a workout could it be? I already know what I doing.”  Right?  Wrong! I was
blown away! I hadn’t had a workout like that in 20 years! I immediately signed up for
the next session and have been going ever since. Lori makes it the right combination of
cardio and strength along with personalized instruction. It truly is a total body workout.
She’s pushed me way beyond my normal comfort zone to achieve what is possibly the
highest level of fitness I have ever had at the age of 42. Not to mention, 15lbs lighter
than when I started. Lori is one of the best instructors/coaches I have ever had the
privilege to be coached by. Her “no excuses” and “can do” attitude is infectious.
Another great thing about X-treme Fitness BootCamp is being outside! Trust me, after
doing this you won’t want to go back into the gym!  Oh, and guys don’t let the fact that
there are more women fool you. Lori makes it challenging for everyone and most of
these women will kick your butt!  If you want to get or stay fit you owe it to yourself to
check this out! I absolutely love it!!" - Tarzan

"I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. The treatments and surgeries left me with
no strength, bone loss and an overall feeling that I was never going to get back to the
old me. When the doctors told me that if I didn’t start getting some exercise I would be
risking osteoporosis, I decided to give Bootcamp a try. I have never, ever stuck with
any fitness program . . . until now. When I started, I couldn’t even complete one sit up.
Each month, I can complete more and more. I’m not just back to my old self. I feel
better than I ever have, physically and mentally. Being a working mom with three active
boys, the Morning Starz group is just what I need to be able to fit a workout in and get
everything else done that I need to. I love that someone else takes the time to put
together a workout that pushes the whole body. All I have to do is show up and give it
my best. Lori is great and supportive and the whole team makes working out a blast. It’
s the best thing you can do for your and your health!"

Meet Marnie;  Joined BootCamp 11/09/09;   Age 43
“Nothing gets between me and my Boot Camp!”  Anyone who knows me knows that’s
my motto.  But being fit hasn’t always been a priority for me.  I have four kids, three of
whom have special needs.  I also have been battling a chronic illness, a suppressed
immune system, and tachycardia, a racing heart which can limit my physical stamina
and endurance for years.  By 42, I had slowed down to a complete stop!  Last year a
concerned friend encouraged me to start working out in Lori’s X-treme Fitness Boot
Camp.  When I first started, I was scared.  Boot Camp was tough.  I was taking 28 pills
a day and had a resting heart rate of 110.  I couldn’t do more than 7 sit ups in 2
minutes and was doing push-ups against a wall.  Running a single lap without stopping
was out of the question.  But with Lori’s patience, encouragement and guidance I slowly
began to build stamina and strength.  Today, I’m so much stronger than I ever thought
I would be, both physically and mentally.  I’m 17 pounds lighter, off many of my
medications, and can pretty much do just about anything Lori throws my way.  While I’m
not the fastest, or the thinnest, or the strongest woman in BootCamp, I know I’m one of
the toughest.  And, perhaps most importantly, I feel fantastic!  I’m a happier, healthier,
and more energized than I’ve felt in years.  Even my doctor’s can’t believe how well I’m
doing and are encouraged by my progress.  What I love most about Lori’s Boot Camp
is that she covers every muscle group, every day, and every class is different.   I’m
never bored.  After a year of training, I still feel every workout.  Lori also challenges us,
no matter where we are.   She doesn’t let us plateau.  And she’s careful.  She doesn’t
let us hurt ourselves.  She makes sure we “do it right” before we “do it good."   I’m not
kidding when I say I live for my workouts with Lori and the rest of the girls.  This
program has changed the trajectory of my life significantly.  Because of that, I truly pity
the fool that tries to get between me and my Boot Camp!"

Meet Judy;   Joined BoootCamp 11/09/09;   Age 70
"My therapy for the past 30 years has been playing ALTA tennis.  Being a senior my
tennis opponents seem to not only be younger every season but in better condition.
To remain competitive on the tennis court and win more than my fair share of matches I
believed it important to get in better condition and maintain that level.  I had tried
working with trainers but found that they let me decide how hard I was going to work
out and they did not push me.  When I found out about Lori’s new low impact boot
camp that she was starting I mistakenly thought this was going to be a group of senior
women and when I discovered there was only one other senior woman (I was 69 at the
time) I didn’t think that I would last the four week session. Lori did not treat me any
differently than any other woman and she let me know that she expected me to improve
each week.  To my surprise within a couple of weeks I was able to keep up with most of
the exercises.  Lori also realized my limitations because of a bad shoulder and she
modified exercises so that I was able to get the same benefits as the rest of the group.
I did not join boot camp to lose weight but I did notice that my clothes where no longer
too tight for me.  I started in November and when December arrived I noticed that like
in the past preparing for Christmas did not stress me out; I had more energy and I was
sleeping better.  Now I take great pride in the fact that people are amazed when they
find out that I am 70 years old.  I also feel that I am setting an example for my three
children, their spouses and my five grandchildren.  My Motto is that you are only as old
as you act and feel and I feel GREAT!"

"As a former college athlete, I thought that my days of being in tip-top shape were long
gone.  Since beginning BootCamp last Spring, I have rediscovered my endurance, and
my fitness level rivals that of my soccer playing days when I could run up to 10 miles
during a single game.  I know that my upper body strength is the best that it has ever
been in my life.  More importantly, I have so much fun.  I'm actually happy to get up at
5:00 AM to and miss it when I don't go to BootCamp.  I look forward to sweating it out
every chance I get with a great group of positive, supportive, and downright awesome
women.  The shooting stars and view of the rising sun aren't too bad, either!"

"Wow!! Closing in on FOUR years of X-Treme Boot Camp and I am still addicted to the
amazing work outs, the great people I’ve met there, and the power of starting each day
off with such a positive and healthy commitment to myself and my long term well being.
It’s definitely not easy, but it’s absolutely worth it.  The fellow campers are so supportive
of each other and Lori is a great leader and role model.  She has followed a path of
personal fitness and has a commitment to helping others achieve their own fitness
goals …. sometimes pushing us when we stumble on the path, and always
cheerleading, motivating and encouraging.  She believes in each of us, even when we
sometimes don’t ourselves.  The words “can’t” and “no” are not in the dictionary at Boot
Camp.  We all can… and do.  Every day.  With a smile on our face and a happy kick in
our stilettos when we step out looking and feeling our personal best!  It’s a great
program and has literally changed hundreds of lives over the years.  Now that’s a true
testimonial to the power of saying “I can do it”.  Look inside, reach deep, go further, do
more… make it YOUR life! "

"Lori, I know I joke a lot but I want you to know how much you mean to me.  Just
knowing you has changed my life. Physically I feel amazing and I couldn't ask for a
better group of women to surround myself with. I just love our team of girls. I'm so
grateful to you for "kicking me in the butt" when I need it. I don't say "thank you" as
often as I should, so just know how much I appreciate you!"

"Working full-time and being a mother to three active, school age children makes it
very difficult to commit to an exercise program on a regular schedule.  I also lack self-
discipline, so I really need someone to tell me what, when and how to exercise.  I
started BootCamp last May and attend the early morning session when the rest of the
family is still asleep and it has been great!!  Lori is a great motivator and does a great
job changing things up so BootCamp never seems boring or routine.  BootCamp is fun
but always challenging.  It has been the perfect solution for me and I strongly
recommend Xtreme Fitness Bootcamp!

Meet Heather;   Joined BootCamp 2/9/09 ;   Age 41
"After putting on 5 extra holiday pounds, I decided I would sign up for 1 session of
BootCamp.  Lori actually had to talk me into it after I discovered it started so early in
the morning.  I'm not much of a morning person & I really didn't think I'd be able to
handle getting up so early.  Even though I have always exercised, I found Lori's
BootCamp balanced my workouts better, incorporating both cardio & strength
exercises while having lots of fun.  I've now been a part of BootCamp for 2 years.  Who
would have thought a non-morning person could do that?  Even though it's sometimes
difficult to get out of bed, once we've finished class I feel great & know that I don't have
to worry about finding time later in the day to do my workout.  What I love most about
BootCamp is the camaraderie with the group.  Everyone is inspiring in their own way.
Some people are faster, some stronger, some have more endurance...but everyone
can be a motivator in some way.  And the class can cater to people of all fitness levels...
just modify the intensity to what works for you.  Although I've always exercised, I've
never stuck with one fitness plan for as long as I've been in Lori's BootCamp.  It's fun &
challenging, and because we're always doing different things, it's never boring!  At 41, I
am as healthy & fit as I was 20 years ago! "

"I have never been so motivated to get up at 5:40AM to work out - EVER.  I love coming
to class and working out before anyone in my house is even awake. While the inches
may not be coming off as rapidly as others, I do know that I am in much better shape.
Running the Peachtree was easier this year, I have been running most Saturdays in
addition to Boot Camp and today I was able to touch Judi's toes doing that drill at the
end of class all but the very last time. The first time I did that exercise I was only able to
get my legs up twice. I've come a long way!! I also love the people that I've met and
enjoy meeting new people.  I just want to say THANK YOU.  I'm glad my friend  found
you for me because I love Boot Camp and everything that goes along with it!"
